They can also work in products and service industries, local banks, insurance companies, manufacturing and other related companies as well as in research and academic establishments.

What is JAMB UTME subject combination (subjects needed) for Demography and Social Statistics?
You should aim for a score of 180 – 200 and above in JAMB UTME to be on a safe side (Just an advice) because anything short of that may deny you of Admission/Post UTME. (i) Obafemi Awolowo University,Ile-Ife (OAU) accepts ND/ND (Upper Credit) in Statistics.

(ii) Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State accepts ND (Upper Credit) in Social Science related courses. It also accepts A’ level passes in Statistics, Physics, Biology, Agricultural Science or any Social Science subjects

What is WAEC, NECO, GCE Special Consideration (waiver) to study Demography and Social Statistics?
(i) Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Ikeji-Arakeji requires English Language, Economics and two Arts or Social Science subjects.

(ii) Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State requires five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two of Social Science or Pure Science subjects.

(iii) Obafemi Awolowo University,Ile-Ife (OAU) requires credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Government/Geography and History/any Science subject.
