What is O level/WAEC subject combination (requirement) for Secretarial Administration?
The subjects needed to study Secretarial Administration in WAEC must contain five (5) credit. This subject combination is also applicable to NECO AND GCE… The O level requirement that is the compulsory WAEC subject combination for Secretarial Administration must include:

  1. English Language
  2. Economics and three other subjects plus at least a pass in Maths.
  3. A trade subject

For NBC holders, three other Subjects could be from any of the following: Office Practice, Secretarial Duties, Principles of Accounts, Shorthand 80 WPM and Typewriting 35 WPM

 

What is JAMB UTME subject combination (subject needed) for Secretarial Administration?
You should aim for a score of 180 – 200 and above in JAMB UTME to be on a safe side (Just an advice) because anything short of that may deny you of Admission/Post UTME. Of course, if you have a score below 180, you can consider College of Education or Polytechnic… Please note – JAMB is not the only option for admission. If you’re having troubles JAMB UTME maybe it’s time you pass through IJBM, JUBEB, ND or Predegree. JAMB UTME subject combination for Secretarial Administration are

What is DIrect Entry Special Consideration (waiver) to study Secretarial Administration?
(i) River State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) accepts (a) Shorthand and Typewriting speeds of 80/35 wpm into 200 level, otherwise such candidates will be admitted into 100 level. (b) OND/ND, U.D (Secretarial Studies/Administration Upper Credit/Distinction for Admissions in Year II and HND relevant to the programmes for admission into Year III

(ii) Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye accepts NCE/ND/HND (lower credit) in Secretarial Administration or related fields.

What is WAEC, NECO GCE Special Consideration (waiver) to study Secretarial Administration?
(i) River State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) requires credit in Mathematics.

(ii) Niger Delta University Yenagoa (NDU) requires five ‘O’ level credit in English Language, Economics or Commerce and three (3) Arts subjects plus at least a pass in Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
