To study this course in Nigeria Universities, you must have fulfilled the admission requirements which must include one or a combination of ‘O’ level results. Such as WAEC, NECO and GCE or ‘A’ level result such as Direct Entry, IJBM, JUBEB, CAMBRIDGE etc and other required documents for admission

What is WAEC, NECO or GCE subject combination (requirement) to study Mathematics?  
You must have Five credit in WAEC, NECO, or GCE (in one or two sitting) to study Mathematics. The core O/level and most importantly WAEC subject combinations for Mathematics must include

  1. English Language
  2. Mathematics
  3. Physics or Chemistry
  4. A trade subject


What is JAMB UTME subject combination (subjects needed) to study Mathematics?
You should aim for a score of 200 and above in JAMB UTME to be on a safe side. (Just an advice). JAMB UTME subject combinations (that is the secondary subjects you must choose during JAMB registration) to study Mathematics are

  1. Mathematics
  2. Any two of Physics, Chemistry and Economics or Geography.


What is Direct Entry requirement (that is the required A level result you need) to study Mathematics?
(i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics and any other science subject.
(ii) NCE with at least merit in Mathematics and one of Physics, Chemistry or Economics
