What is WAEC, NECO or GCE subject combinations (requirement) to study Creative Arts?  
You must have Five credit at one or two sitting in WAEC, NECO, or GCE to study Creative Arts. The core WAEC, NECO or GCE subject combinations for Creative Arts must include:

  1. English Language
  2. Fine Art.
  3. A trade subject

For holders of NTC, the relevant subjects could be General Wood work, Building/Engineering Drawing, Introduction to Building Construction; Decorative Painting; Spray Painting, Linig, Sign and Design; Wall hanging, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing; Printing Origination; Machine Printing and Finishing
General Metal Work, Basic Electricity, Spinning, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing; Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing; Graphic Design; Graphic For holders of NTC, the relevant subjects could be General Wood work, Building/Engineering Drawing, Introduction to Building Construction; Decorative Painting; Spray Painting, Linig, Sign and Design; Wall hanging, Colour Mixing/Matching and Glazing; Printing Origination; Machine Printing and Finishing; General Metal Work, Basic Electricity, Spinning, Weaving, Surface Design and Printing; Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing; Graphic Design; Graphic Printing and Ceramics.

You should aim for a score of 200 and above in JAMB UTME to be on a safe side. (Just an advice). JAMB UTME subject combinations (requirement) for Creative Arts are

  1. Fine Art
  2. Two other Arts subjects or Social Science subject.

 

What is Direct Entry requirement to study Creative Arts?
(i) Two ‘A’ level passes in Art or Fine Art and any other subject.
(ii) OND (Upper Credit) HND (Lower credit) from recognised institutions
