What is WAEC, NECO or GCE subject combinations (requirement) to study Finance?  
You must have Five credit in WAEC, NECO, or GCE (or combination of O level result) to study Finance. The core WAEC, NECO or GCE subject combinations for Finance must include:

  1. English Language
  2. Maths, and any other relevant subjects.
  3. A trade subject

For NBC the other two relevant subjects could be from any of the following, Accounting, Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Office practice and Economics

What is Direct Entry requirement to study Finance?
(i) Two ‘A’ level passes chosen from Accounting, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Geography, and Statistics.

Finance is described as the branch of applied economics that deals with the management, creation and study of money, banking, credit, investments, assets and liabilities that make up financial systems, as well as the study of those financial instruments.
